Gloomy day, mist and fog right down, covering the tree tops.
Hey, Olive Garden sure sounds like a good Gloom Lifter!
Our walls have texture and I spent a lot of time touching up spots I missed.
.................and as I gaze out at the blinding sunshine blasting through my livingroom window, I think of the other day when the fog was so thick one could almost slice it with a knife!
Sorry! Just had to put in a bit of mirth here, for I need it today! It is cobweb-hunting time, dusting and vacuuming to follow.....after my morning internet adventure, and the kitchen is tidied up!
Glad you and HD took advantage of the gloom and went out to lunch and a bit of shopping! Great way to make a positive out of a negative! I love Olive Garden, and must make a date there again sometime when some family members can join me....HUGGS
I'm beginning to think we moved to Seattle or something. It's been foggy, snowy, rainy, overcast for WEEKS!!! Only a few hours of sunshine, really!
If the Old Wives Tale comes to be, we could have a terrible time trying to plant crops this Spring. The Old Wives' Tale says that it will rain 90 days after it's foggy. A friend said that he has 1 day to get all his land tilled and planted. lol Hopefully that old wives tale doesn't materialize. That could make for a loooong Spring!
I LOVE Olive Garden. Before my DD changed her eating, that is where she preferred to go for 'celebration dinners'. She has gone carb-free and has lost over 50 lbs. It's not a diet, it's a life style change. She feels so much better. I'm so proud of her!
Teresa, ready for sunshine...more than an hour at a time!
