Do you have any plans for New Years Eve or New Years Day?

We don't have any plans. On new years day DH has requested a batch of his favorite dip, a dried beef, cream cheese, sour cream, horseradish, parmesan cheese combo. And, of course, football. Nothing too exciting.

How 'bout you gals???

Nothing planned here. We got tired of the ballroom dance studio's party. Way too expensive for DJ music, crowded floor and iffy snacks. I intend to watch the Rose Bowl parade in my PJs, then roast a small turkey to get us back on track to more healthy eating.

Arrived home a few hours from the overnight trip to Indy with DSs & DGrS. Hotel pool was too cold and hot tub way to hot for this old body, but the girls had fun. Children's Museum was packed - I think every other parent/grandparent in the tri-state area had the same idea. But, it is a big place, so there was plenty to see & do. Had White Castle's on the trip home, so I am full for the night. Brought DH a huge corned beef sandwich from his favorite deli there.
Lots of good conversation with DS on the drive, so I'm smiling, though worn out. My bed is gonna feel so good tonight.

I'm afraid all my rootin' tootin' New Years celebrations are a thing of the past now! lol I can reminisce about all the fun times I'd had, however, most of those folks are all gone now, or moved away, and I'm just left with the memories. Fond memories, at that.

I stayed home, watched the ball drop in Times Square, NYC, then the display in downtown Seattle, off the Space Needle, which is always a spectacular sight.

As for New Years Day, I vegged out, watching a few old, old movies that air this time of year, popped a chunk of ham in the oven with some potatoes to bake,
