I know. Some of you are wondering why I'm hounding you about this. I understand that a lot of folks are tired of hearing/seeing/reading about William and Kate, and all the elaborate preparations for their wedding event. Still, this Royal ceremony was a chapter in world history, and drew the interest of our entire universe.

Therefore, regardless of what your views are, let's hear from those who have an opinion to voice, good, bad, or indifferent, and what you thought of it from beginning to end.

Sadly, I simply could not be up to watch it and my VCR will not record anything!

I talked to a friend today who watched and she was very impressed by the whole event and how everything was ochestrated down to the minute. She said the music was beautiful although not what she had expected.

I just wish this young couple the best of luck in their life together. They seem to have a lot more going for them than Charles and Diana ever had, but life in a fishbowl is not easy!

I only saw some highlights. I would have liked to have watched the entire thing but could not reasonably stay up all night for it. I watched Oprah that afternoon, she had a great show with reporters in London and some pre-wedding interviews too. One of the reporters was India Hicks who was a bridesmaid for Diana, she had some interesting perspective and stories. Later that night I saw some photos online of what various people were wearing, including some of the hats.

I watched the wedding of Charles and Diana, I was living in Florida at the time and got up at something like 4am to see it. I enjoy the pomp and ceremony and tradition. I wouldn't want to BE the people living such a public life, but its fun to watch.

Of course I watched the Royal Wedding. :smileywink: Starting recording it at 4 AM EST, incase I over-slept. Our local PBS carried the BBC version so I recorded all six hours on my DVR. Started watching at 5.30 & watched the entire event by day's end. What a spectacle!!!

Great sport viewing all the hats from the sublime to the ridiculous. Loved the bride's mother's outfit just gorgeous.

The bride looked perfect. Westminster Abbey looked splendid with those live trees. The Queen looked very happy in her yellow outfit & Prince Phillip looked terrific for his age... 90 next month.

Britain isn't the great power it once was but it can still put on a show like no other country.

Every happiness to the Royal couple.
