I haven't been posting the last few months but have kept up with the board. It's been a very long winter. DH was home over 5 weeks due to problems with his truck. I guess I have spoiled him rotten because it sure kept me busy taking care of him! If that was anything like it will be when he retires I will be going to work.lol

Last week's two warm days gave me such pleasure of seeing a blue sky, and the early morning sunshine put me in a "leaping spring mood". You know what that mood is like. Puts spring in your step, joy in your heart just looking forward to a glorious day and thinking how much you can accomplish in the day's time. I was in the mood to garden for sure.

It looks like winter has circled around and hit me broadside again. Last week my wishful thinking was looking good with 55 degrees and the ability to be outside without goosebumps. We had two warm days!! Today

Here, Loretta, have a warm cup with me. Good to have you back around the table. It is 40 degrees here today and will be colder by this afternoon. Sleet and rain are moving in with maybe some snow flurries but it won't stick I'm sure. This weather beats me up.

I know how it is when a driver has to spend weeks at home fixing a truck. Not only does the money tend to vanish but they have a hard time getting back into it. Mine will talk about the need to be back out there working but when the day comes he is grumpy and snappy and delays his departure so long it is a mad dash to make the deadline to load when he finally gets going. And then, if he is fairly close to home and it is a Friday, he may call and say "Well, I'm loaded but I won't get very far since I used up most of my hours waiting so I might as well come back to the house cause I'm not sitting out here in a truck stop all weekend just spending money we don't have." I also know they get so used to restaurants that they like having us bring them what they want. LOL

I had to give my CDL up when my license renewed in October. That broke my heart. I worked hard to get that thing and I was proud of it. But I can't step up into a truck anymore so...what ya gonna do. LOL

Hope you can get your garden going soon. I know my neighbor's fruit trees are blooming and I fear this little freeze coming is going to kill the buds. But it is pretty for the time being.
