Holey, Moley - that would be too much for my old heart! What a tale you have to tell. There was a rash of home burglaries last year when people were working in a part of their yard away from back door. We put in a door lock with code for our back door and always lock it. I always carry my electronic car key with me in the yard, figure I'd push the alarm if something fishy was going on. We have a shed that's unlocked and I'm super cautious opening it. The house next to us was empty for years and I smelled cigarette smoke coming from the yard one day. Called the police and they found a vagrant had set up residence in the back yard!
Years ago I came home for lunch to an empty house and discovered one of our DSs rooms had been entered through an unlocked window. Despite the lectures, they seldom listened to old mom.
Still here, still have the same miserable cold, hoping it is gone by the time the temps to up to high 50s next week. Had some family drama going on, just wears me down. Keep thinking I'm too old for this s&*t. No progress on my quilting, but the taxes did get done.
OMG, under your trailer!

What a terrible experience, Dovie! Sure glad things turned out for the good, and that the cops arrested the man! Your DH took a chance following him
