when I'm not only no longer in my 50's, when I started this message board, but rapidly rushing toward 70. Think I'll have to come back when I have more time to see who, besides Liz, I recognize.

OMG! I can hardly believe my eyes! Just checked in to see what's happening and read your post, Thistle, and tears came to my eyes! How wonderful to see you here after so many years! You are the one who started this board way back in the late 90s, and yes, it's still rolling along, although quite slowly these days. All of the old regulars slowly faded away, and I'm trying to recall those that you may still remember.

How about these: Dovie, (Sandy) who lives in Spokane; Highsierra (Pat) used to live near Reno, now living near Spokane; tswalnut (Teresa) who still lives on her Kansas farm; Grayeagle (in California) has changed her screen name and posts to another iVillage board, visits here once in a while; Annetterosemartin still lives near Vancouver, B.C. and working. Hasn't been on the board for some years. She became a grandma for the first time recently and is very proud of her granddaughter, even though she and her daughter live in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. Sweetpea (Sandi), originally from a Missouri farm, now lives in Alabama where she and her DH built their new home.

I still live here on my little patch of rural land in the same county as Seattle, and would you believe I am 83 now? Still going strong, too! You'll have to come back and ask me questions about other gals who were here and I hope I have some answers for you. I'm sure I'll have plenty to ask of you as well!

Hello, Liz.

Yes, I did catch a post from greyeagle just as I clicked end or whatever it was to leave the site. I worked all weekend so haven't had a chance to explore the site as I want to.
