A New Years tradition here

is to buy new dish towels & pot holders. The stained old ones are relegated to the rag bag. Makes the kitchen feel fresh and new. I get cotton "flour bag" type for drying and terry cloth for hands. Also hang extras on the oven door handle.

This also helps with my urge to get out & shop - LOL.

I agree with the rest, Jacquie, and think this is a great New Years tradition to keep.


Fortunately, I have so many towels that I can alternate them frequently, like once or twice a week. Kitchen hand towels are a huge necessity in that room, for I'm constantly wiping my hands, both after washing them, and when they get food scraps on them. So, I hang one
