Hi from Shareylee in cloudy Woodstock,Il today;normally from Peoria, Il but helping out with the grandkids today. I would love to be in 'sunny anywhere today' just because it has been a long winter for us.
So glad you found us; we are a 'great group of ladies' all willing to listen and send a cyber hug when needed,
I am happily married for 41 years now and the grammy to 8 ranging in ages from 4 to 10. They give me hugs and smiles when the going gets rough as DH and I help take care of his DSM (age 94) and my parents who are in their mid 80's. DD has renal failure and DM is in the middle stages of Alzheimers so we are busy.
I will say an extra prayer for you as you care for your DH. Heres hoping you found something to brighten your day today. Shareylee waving a welcome with her cup of tea as it is "TeaTime"
Welcome back. I am Dianne from Texas. I've been married to my DH for 36 years. We've raised 3 kids and have 7 DGKs. I don't know if you were on the board when I joined. I sat down to this table about 8 or 9 years ago. Hope you decide to stay.
Welcome back to 50 & Fab, Desert Smile! Your name sounds quite familiar, and yes you are right! iVillage has changed a lot in recent years. Members come and go as their lifestyle places demands, and some eventually rotate back to the familiar boards they visited long ago.
I'm Liz in Washington state, and Community Leader here since very early 1999, and several ladies showed up around the same time, or a year or two later. We've become great friends in sharing the crumpets of our lives, and hope you'll stick around and join in conversations with us.
Well, welcome again then.
Hello, I'm Loretta from Northeast Arkansas.
