Glad you made it home safely, Pat. Ouch for HD!!! He could have really been hurt.
We must have missed the weather they got down in Florida...we have just had bitterly cold temps and strong winds. Strange for this to last this long in the South.

Poor DH! Well, that will just stress the need to head south for the winter months. LOL
I like the beach ok, but get tired of it quick. I'm more a pine forest kind of gal I suppose. Take me out on a bass boat and let me swim around it over the waves and sand and burning sun anyday. But I'm glad you had a great time and got home safely.
Ah, I put the New Smyrna Beach Web Cam up on my Favorites, you can hear the ocean.
Now Pat you could have bought yourself those clothes and mailed them to your home address. When you got home they would have been there waiting, or close to arriving at least. And you know what they say about shipping...if it fits it ships at one low rate. LOL Gotta love the postal service.
We used "If it fits, it ships" for Christmas and it works very well.

Welcome back, Pat! Your new laptop certainly came in handy late....your trip down into Oregon, and then, on a FL vacation! What a pity that the weather was colder than usual, however, like you said, it was 'balmy' to both of you.
