OK....I took the survey, although some questions Ifeel did not pertain to me, but I answered the best I could! Now, do I get a prize? ROFL....

One of my best Valentine's Day events was a night out of dinner, dancing, and a hotel room overlooking one of Washington State's most fabulous rivers as it flowed over a

Well first off my dh is not Mr Romance {I've known this for the entire 12 years we have been together, so I have come to not to except much from him} we usually go to dinner on the 13th & that's about it. We usually go to one of our favorite resturants & it's just him & me time. {which we don't anymore as my sister is living with us}

Valentine's Day has never been a huge day for DH and I. We've been together for 19 years (married for 9). The most "memorable" Valentine's Day was our first. He forgot it was Valentine's Day, so he ran out and bought me two enormous (bulk) bags of conversation hearts. Those small, chalky candies. It was cute, but what does one do with that many heart candies??

I love those chalky candy hearts, Jen! Not so much for the taste, but I like to line them up and ready all the messages, then county hor many candies there are for each message! Dumb? Probably, but a fun thing to do, since as you say, Valentine's day is not that big of a holiday, so one needs to improvise in one way or another! ROFL

I love the yellow conversation hearts! They're "banana" flavor. I wish you could buy bags of only the yellow ones...but its probably just as well that you can't, I don't need to be eating all that sugar.

I don't remember any special Valentine's Days. My dh isn't big on holidays that he feels are kind of contrived. Sometimes I will make something special for dinner, and we do exchange cards...its just as well to skip restaurants that night because they are usually so busy here. Our anniversary is on Feb 17 and we usually do something for that like go out to dinner or sometimes go away for the night, it kind of replaces Valentine's Day for us I guess.
