Anyone read this quote? Where?

I have a couple of quick questions: did anyone ever read this book by Julia Bourland -- "The Go-Girl's Guide to Surviving your 20s with Savvy and Style" or something like that? If yes, then does anyone recall seeing this quote and if yes, then whereabout in the book?

"The family pet will not welcome you home. In fact, it may have already gone to doggie heaven"

This was in the context of having to move back with your parents if you were out of work/cash. However, I could not find it in the section on family relationships ("Family Knots") or anywhere else in the book. Would anyone know if this quote could have been in any other book or section on family relationships in your 20s and beyond? (living at home at this age or older). For some reason, this quote (not sure if it's quite right) stuck in my head!

Now my other question: would anyone know of similar books on surviving your 30s? I really could use a book like that, and I'm sure so could some of the others on this board!

Sorry, Sapna, I have not read this book, so I'm no help to you. And as far as surviving your 30s, I would be intersted also to read a book like that! I'm interested to see if anyone else posts!
