Since most games were introduced while we were young, I was wondering if any of you were gamers?

I wish we would have adopted that rule. We have a stack of scratched disks...my Guitar Hero III is one of them. :(

LOL. I don't play WOW, but I do play a few other games similar to it (Neverwinter Nights and Guild Wars). They are somewhat similar to D&D (mainly because they evolved from it in a way), especially if you actually get really involved with the role playing aspect of it. For people that don't get into the role playing aspect, those games are really just video games. Pen and paper D&D is a lot more immersive in my opinion though. There is a lot more you can do with pen and paper D&D compared to the video games.

Yes we have/play all three consoles, mostly because of the games that are only available on one or the other. I love the old games on the Wii. My son wasn't allowed to touch the consoles and games until within the past few years because I didn't want him messing them up. Now he is really good about how he handles them.

I loved Space Invaders! My dad had the Atari when we were kids. I was pretty young, so I wasn't allowed to play with it until I was older. Space Invaders was so much fun, and I got to be pretty good at it. My BFF in middle school had a Nintendo, and we used to play Super Mario Brothers over at her house. A year or so later, we finally hopped aboard the Nintendo bandwagon. Now, we only have a Wii. My kids aren't too interested in video games, and I don't play them very much either.

I am very much still a gamer. :)

I started with an Atari when I was little. I loved Pac-Man!!

Then when the NES came out, we had that. My brother and I use to play Super Mario Bros all the time. As the systems advances, we got most of the newer ones.

I also got sucked up into the D&D stuff. Still do it to this day. :) Now it's something my DH and I both do and eventually our children probably will too.

We play computer games together as well. We have all the current generation consoles, along with some of the older ones, and tons of board games. :) We are a gaming family all the way. :)

Atari came out sometime when I was in elementary school, so my first game was Pong. It was pretty boring, LOL.
