The holiday season is always a hard time for many of us.
I'm sorry to hear you have several sad memories in December.
It might be worrth trying to make some new, happy memories in December. Can you start a new tradition with J.? Go on a weekend away for your birthday?
As for your nephew - that is a major drag, but don't let it affect your mood. It is his drama to deal with - not yours. Be supportive, but don't take his burden onto your own shoulders.
