Disappearing posts?

How come many of my posts have disappeared? They were there for a few days, but have simply disappeared? For example, I posted a response to "Dating an older man, any opinions?" Because my father is 19 1/2 years older than my mother and they've been married 40 years. The post was there for a few days...but is gone now. I also posted to "Grief for not visiting enough" that was also there for awhile, but has disappeared. Yet other posts are still around. So, where'd they go?

Thanks Caroline! Not that its a big deal, but what's the point of participating if the posts are just gonna disappear? I'm sure its just some kind of technical glitch, but thanks for checking into it!

Hi biores,

I checked and there have not been any posts removed/deleted. You can email feedback@mail.ivillage.com to report the problem and I will let our techies know from my end.

Hi Caroline!

Thanks for the follow-up. I don't think the preview button is the problem, but if it is, I'll be more careful. I think some of these posts appeared on the boards for awhile, because they would be there when I came to see if there were more posts added. The funny thing is, it's only the 30-something board that this has happened on. I haven't noticed it on any of the other boards I frequent. ???

I'm not going to worry too much about it for now. If it keeps happening, then I'll send an e-mail to feedback. Thanks again for following up on it!

Hi. I think it's great that an age difference hasn't kept your folks from having a long

marriage. :)

Have a great day!

Age is but a number in the world of love. Maturity transcends age more times than not. Communication is vital, and not simply copious amounts of communication but meaningful, thought provoking and thought invoking communication helps to make things last. My parents with an 11 year age difference have been married for nearly 35 years and will probably be for 50 more.

I see no problem with age up or down for men or women.
