Do you still stay out all night and party like you did in your 20's and teens?

  • yes occasionally
  • yes all the time
  • no never
  • I party the same

You will be able to change your vote.

I voted "I party the same" because that answer suited me best.

Aside from a crazy window of time during college when I was 19-21 & partied frequently, I have always "partied" roughly the same amount.

I'm not sure what to vote ... I might have done this a few times in high school because my friends were and I went along with it. But not nearly as much as they did. By the time I started college (18), I was completely over it. So I guess I can say that I do the same amount now that I did then ... because I never stayed out all night and partied. It was never my scene. I am a total night owl, but I'd rather stay up all night reading a good book, having an intense conversation with a friend, or a love-making session with DF.

One acceptation, I do a lot of partnered dancing. And once in a while, I'll go to a weekend festival/convention where there are lessons all day, a break for dinner/relaxation, and then dances all night. But I don't really think of that as the same thing. There is rarely drinking and it gives you a chance to spend time with other dancers and practice the moves/skills you learned in the classes during the day. So I guess if that's the case, I actually do it more now. But really, it's one weekend every few months and really DF and I usually leave around 2. We just can't dance until 5 in the morning and be fresh and ready to learn in the classes the next morning.

I never enjoyed the staying out all night and partying thing even though I did it a few times in college. Once I entered the full-time workforce, this sort of behavior is a no-no (it isn't exactly model behavior for a teacher) and now with two step-children, staying out until the dawn of day is pretty impractical.

I more likely to go to a all night dinner, then go to a bar anymore.
