She visited in the winter and it was cold around Christmas.
A friend visited Alaska over Christmas break. She loves hot locales and is known to feel cold when it's 70 out, so I can't wait to hear about her experience in the cold when we get back to school.
Whenever I have down time, like now, I watch a lot more TV than usual, read "chick lit" and other books that aren't for school, and get more sleep than usual. I also tried to take up knitting over this break, and for a couple of days, I was hooked, and then, I apparently forgot about it and now have about 1/20 of a scarf done.
It's been in the 20s here and sometimes teens at night. Now it's 32. I can actually feel the difference in the air - it's cold but not C.O.L.D.
This weekend, it is supposed to snow...
I read, right after I became single again I joined a book club and found (again) my love of reading.
Lately, it's been REALLY cold here (for us). So I've been catching up on my rest. I was running like a crazy woman during the holidays so now I've been just reading, watching TV and working on my online classes.
