What do you do to stay fit?



The only person I have discussed this with was my DH.

I've got an elliptical trainer. I love it because it's gym quality. We also have a Bowflex that I'm not so enamored with. It didn't come with the leg extension attachment, so I finally found one and now I can't find the instructions to install the dumb thing. If I knew how to install it, I'd be doing my legs everyday!

I've got a high energy dog (Doberman) who needs to be run each day. It's a workout. We go to the dog park and we run up and down the length of it. Well, he does. I run, he sees me, he sprints to pass me, I turn and run the other way, he turns around and sprints past me again, and this continues until I can't do it anymore. I'm NOT a sprinter, but we can do this for about 5 minutes on the uneven terrain before I have to stop. I've also started jogging against my will since we got him. I don't know how far we go, but it's about 20 minutes in each direction. I wish I could get him to like the bike leash, but he won't get that close to my bike.

I use my elliptical, walk, swim, lift weights, and do pilates.

We have a Golden Retreiver who loves to run as well.

That's a great goal...and kudos to you for meeting it consistently!



4 hours is right about where I'm at too.
