The first 1/2 of the week is already over.
Well it's Wednesday night...or Thursday morning, depending how you look at it.
When I get out of work this morning I will be picking up my puppy!!!Yay!! And I'm taking Thursday night off. That's definitely a high for the week.
I don't even know where to start as far as places to eat. There are a lot of great places but I guess nothing to write home about since nothing too exciting comes to mind at the moment - maybe because it's 3:10 am.... =)
The first 1/2 of the week is already over. I hope it has been a good week for you so far! Any highs or lows? What's on your plate for today?**OMG, what a week!!!! We found a house we liked on Saturday. We were emailing and calling back and forth with our real estate agent all day on Sunday talking about offers ... and then we had her draw up a draft of our offer for us to look at. Then we went to home depot and got some rough estimates so we can make sure we can afford to do everything we want to change (flooring, buying a fridge, washer & dryer, and getting it painted) before we'd move in. We went to our real estate agent's house on Monday night and signed the offer and she sent it in. We got a counter offer on Tuesday night. It was very close to what we were offering, so it didn't take long to decide we wanted it. We went to our tango class and then met with our Realtor afterward to sign the paperwork accepting the counter offer. Now our inspection is scheduled for Sunday, and if all goes well, we close on April 2nd!! Holy crap, we have a house!! What a week ... and it's only Wednesday! Wow.
As far as today, just work as usual, meeting with my friend at the climbing gym after work like I do every Wednesday, and then I have a ton of grading to do tonight. Oh, and I have to give my notice to my landlord to let him know I'm moving out.
Here is a fun question for Wednesday - If I came to your town, what restaurant would you recommend?**Hmmmmmm ... Probably Ivar's Salmon House. It's right on the lake above downtown, so if you sit by the window, you'll have a great view of the city skyline across the lake. It has regional food and is decorated in a very Pacific North West kind of style with some artwork and photography by and of the native people of the area. And the food and wine selection is amazing!
I'm glad that work is calming down for you!!!
Nothing too exciting has happened so far this week.
