It's been raining here, but I'm refusing to let it get me down.

How is your business going?

I've heard of Shakeology, but didn't taste any of the shakes. They didn't mix well with liquid in my opinion and that made them look less appetizing. That may be me just being picky, but if it doesn't look good I'm not eating/drinking it.

I have considered other direct sales companies in the past, but either the investment to get started was too high, there was too much competition in my area, the upline wasn't willing to be very supportive, or I maybe only liked a couple of the products. This time it happened backwards. I just started using the products and have been slowly replacing everything around the house with their stuff. Then I found myself talking about them in passing and people would ask me where to get them or if they could borrow mine and try it and the wheels started turning. Business is going slowly, but I'm working on it and have a lot of support. I'm hoping to do some vendor events soon and expand do a whole new group of people.

As for the donation yoga, the one I go to requests $0 - $10. The donation basket is near the sign in sheet and no one is hovering watching who put what in, so if you have nothing to spare then thats fine. I usually put in 1-2 bucks and arrive early to help set up and stay late to help clean up. This allows me to be able to go each week without blowing my budget.

I've been to some donation yoga classes where you're asked to write how much you donated next to your name on the sign in sheet....ick! I've also seen the required donation be $7-$20 for some. I understand that yoga studios have operating costs and the instructors should be compensated for their time, but if I paid that much I'd only be able to go once a month.
