-35 is more than "yucky." I don't know how you do it!

The weekend was ok. Honestly, I was in a blue funk all last week that led to a major discussion with C. last night. Still a little blue, but I think it will get better.

We did go to the Stock Show with the kids, which was fun.

This week at work is goind to be nutty!

AJ, enjoying life with C.

I've learned to walk really fast, so when it gets this cold, you already run from the car to the office :0)

I'm glad that you and C had some time to talk!!!

I've been complaining for days about our sub-freezing temps and snow (in northeast TN if I haven't mentioned it earlier)! It was 4 last night, but -35 is not even fathomable to me! I'm taking back all my complaints!

My weekend was quiet. It snowed Thursday, and in anticipation of it, I took work home for Friday since I figured the university would be closed. That meant I didn't have to actually do my work until Sunday night! I'm a research assistant, so most of my work is writing reports and doing very basic data analysis, and I just had to finish a report for my boss. It took about 3 hours. I've been going in since last Wednesday even though the semester doesn't start until Thursday to get a jump start on some major projects my supervising professor and I are working on. Today, I worked on a report that is due tomorrow, and we are trying to get together a grant proposal that is due on Friday. We're obviously getting a very late start! My sister is possibly visiting me tomorrow, and I'll work from home, but with the snow we're getting tonight and my parents' location out in the country, most likely I'll be working from home alone.

Oh, also, I picked up my diploma for my first Master's today! It was a very proud moment for me.

We don't have special heaters for our homes, but they do use a lot of fuel when it gets this cold!!!
