It is normal I dont want a relationship?

I am a 32 years old woman, who has been recently divorced. I live now by myself with my cat, work full time (thanks God) and pursuing an MBA.
I found myself more and more uninterested in investing time on a relationship. I dated in the past, but I just don't feel like going the extra mile.
Do you find this normal? Being a woman, shouldn't I be the one looking for a new partner?
I just don't feel any desires to get hitched again, but I don't know if this is normal.

YES!!! YOU ARE TOTALLY NORMAL!!!! There is nothing wrong with you. I was in your position in the late 90s. I was dumped rather unceremoniously by my ex

I do get what you are saying, but I think it's GREAT that you're happy single! Do what pleases you :-)

I don't know if it's normal or not ... I guess a lot of women in your situation might feel differently. But I see absolutely nothing wrong with it! Being recently divorced, it's probably good to take some time before you get into a serious relationship anyway. If you feel differently later, you can always start dating and being open to the possibility later. If not, I think that's completely fine!!

Just out of curiosity, are you disinterested in relationships only? What about casual dating? Sounds like you're not interested in that either, which is totally fine, I'm just being nosy.

A relationship requires effort, and right now I do not feel like making that effort; that plus the fact my school is so demanding!

Casual dating I guess is fine!

Thanks for all the kind answers.

(I am also trying to train for a half-marathon but that is another story)

Yes, you are normal. I have been that way for the last 10 yrs. Right now, I want to focus on my schooling and getting back on my feet. I want to take care of me.
