January Roll Call 2010

I'm formerly Ms. M and now Mrs. S. ;-) I live in southern Kansas in the heart of a very rural community. I married my best friend this past August and I have two wonderful and beautiful step-daughters. We have a terrier mix furball who surprises everyday even though she's been around us for almost two years. I work in public education and we just bought our first house together (C owned a home previously) in October. Our first DIY remodel on the house was the main upstairs bathroom; my father-in-law drove out and helped us demo the old tile (it was plastic and garishly red) and install new tile as well as move the plumbing and electrical for the washer and dryer and build a closet to hide the pipes from moving the washer lines. Other than that, we spend a lot of time driving around our area to visit family and friends. Currently, we're looking at the possibility of buying a timeshare and actually getting to take a honeymoon this summer.
