my best friend is becoming crazy since she met the *new man* in her life.

She is about to dump her boyfriend of many years because her new friend told her to do so. She told me this a week ago.
She told me that this new friend of hers (a single, childless, uneducated man 20 years older than her) has made it “clear to her that she is a stupid b, and will continue staying a stupid b. for as long as she stays with her current boyfriend of many years..” – I am quoting what he said in her words. I would never curse that much.

One time I was there and heard him insult her. I disagreed with his language!

It sounds like your friend and her "new man" have a lot of issues. You've done all you can for your friend and it probably is better if you occupy yourself with other activities and other people for awhile. Perhaps she'll come to her senses about the new man and try to reconcile with you or perhaps she won't.

I agree. I don't think there's anything you can do for your friend right now. I would just move on, but be there for her if she needs you. It sounds like this new friend of hers has some serious issues, and I hope she isn't getting sucked into an abusive relationship.

yes, she is already in an abusive relationship with that guy!
(at least heavy verbal+ emotional abuse! –it is the reason why I do not speak to him. )
I don’t know if they are intimate or not- and i don’t care.
the way he treats her is insane!

Yes, he has issues!
but she likes it! she wants it/likes him that way.
ok. her decision.
it is not like she does not know what she is getting herself into..

But I am not going to watch *this*...
