technically, it's not your business, but unfortunately that kind of info can be found all over the internet. i'm sure she was just embarrassed but you finding out about it is probably the least of her worries right now. she's going to have to live with a black mark on her credit record for the next 7 years. i would try to let it go and apologize only if you feel really bad about it. (however, i would be ticked if someone asked me about my personal finances, regardless of how public the information was.)
