hi all,
I like this one.
So, I am not an aggressive bi***h, but I am usually more, well, doormatty. Its cause me to learn to become more assertive ain terms of standing up for myself.

We got the POA after she was discharged from the hospital. Also got a living will and last will. We've been talking to the creditors when they write and my mom or I will call them. They have been very nice once we explained the situation to them.

On top of this, her son (who I can't believe has lived this long by being so stupid), is in the middle of some IRS 'fun'. He has lied on his taxes in more ways than I can list.

I registered for school, and start classes on the 17th. This is the first I've posted of it, because it still doesn't seem real to me.

I've given up on teaching (for now). There's nothing out there for me. There are openings, but they are either principal, superintendent, some sort of specialist, special ed, high school, etc. Not in my area of certification. I am tired of kicking the door and ending up with sore toes.

So I enrolled at the local community college to study to be a paralegal. I think it will be very interesting and I can't wait - I've had pretty much nothing going on except taking my mom, aunt, and

Ugh, it's been a really hard couple of weeks for me/us with the current situation, so I will have to stretch for some positives as well.

Let's see...

It is going to be 76 degrees here today - in November! Woo hoo.

C. is home from his business trip and his meetings went well, so hopefully his stress level will mellow out a bit.

We get a kid-free weekend this weekend (starting Saturday at noon)! Huge WOO HOO (love 'em, but I miss my time alone with C. A LOT). First one in a month.

AJ, enjoying life with C.
