So Mr. Al Roker (The Today Show) said the weather has been absolutely terrible in some parts of our country lately.

Our forecast for today was "haze." Great.

It has been a weird May/June - cloudy and rainy almost every day. It was actually COLD last night and I would have sworn I was in Maine. I am ready to see the sun again.

We've had four earthquakes in the last couple of weeks.

My board is pretty quiet right now. Three of the regulars got married in May, so they have moved on to other boards. Hoping for some folks to de-lurk.

The wedding is pretty much planned. Now, we just have to find a place to live and I have a little more than three weeks until I have to move and let my new renters take over. (It's my first home, and I am going to be sad to let go!!)

Our weather is all over the place. We had FIVE tornados touch down over the weekend. It's been rainy. It feels like a combination of Seattle, Maine and Oklahoma -- not Colorado. This constant gray, cloudy thing just doesn't happen here that often and it's been gray for weeks.

We get tornados quite a bit here in the spring, but it's very rare for them to touch down in the Denver area. The eastern plains get hammered with them all the time, though.

Yikes about the forest fires. That's usually our issue here - dry and high fire danger. Not this year! Hope they go out soon. Are they near you?

I hope you will be joining my board sometime soon, too! Fingers crossed. :)

C. and I will be renting for a year or two until the market improves -- then we'll sell one or both of the places we own and think about buying a house together. I'm just excited that, even though we're renting, it will be "our" first place together. That makes it easier to leave "my" first place.
