Why some people is so toxic and mean? I just don't get it...
I used to date this guy centuries ago... We were not mean to be and we broke off. I since married and divorced but we still used to keep in touch.
One of my life dreams is to go to school here in the US. When I finally made it happened I was psyched! The only words that came out from his mouth (I thought we were friends were)
1. Your degree means nothing, millions of people do it (mind you I came here and did not speak the language and now I am in a very good school pursuing an MBA)...
2. Your school is not even Ivy League (it is not but still)....
I erased him from my FB account. Then he send me an email like all innocent saying WHAT HAPPENED? I told him, listen I decided only to have positive and nice people in my life.
You are not one of them.
The man is married, and I think we are better off not speaking but still... he hurt me some how.
Aww what a negative and mean guy! I think you made the right choice. You don't need him in your life.
I can definitely relate. When I was in college and even after graduating, a lot of people made fun of me for majoring in English. They said, "Good luck with THAT, what else could you do but teach?" or "That was a waste of 4 years". But they were wrong. A degree is never a waste. No I didn't make big bucks straight out of college (nor do I now) but it was not a waste of time and I am still in a better position than I would be without a degree :-)
Try to forget this toxic guy!
Hugs,
Angela
I was recently thinking to myself why can't your loved ones, especially those loved ones who claim to love you in return, truly be happy for your blessings?
It truly gets on my nerves.
I wYAll the best of luck to you. You've accomplished your life's goal, you're happy and perhaps some day, others will be happy for you, too.
You were right to block him.
Good for you!
