nothing over the top here either.. jeff's back felt good enough to do some rock hounding... and we have a good choice of petrified wood(which are really rocks) but the ones we found still have the tree/bark looks of a tree, but believe me..

they might still look like tree's but they weigh a ton just like real rocks...

I had an awesome weekend!! I went climbing at City of Rocks. Three of my friends and I met up at 3 pm and got started on the 11 hour drive. We pulled into the camp site around 4 in the morning way too tired to pitch tents so we just spread out our tarps and pulled out our sleeping bags and instantly fell asleep. But we were rudely woken up by rain at 8 am. So we quickly put up some tents, crawled in and got a few more hours of sleep. After that, it was 3 1/2 full days of awesome climbing before heading back home yesterday afternoon. I got home at midnight last night. :)

Well, mountain climbing and rock climbing are actually very very different sports. I've done a bit of mountaineering, but I don't like it much. There is a lot of rock climbing around colorado that isn't mountain climbing. There is also a lot of easier mountaineering that's really just hiking that I'm sure you could do! I don't know how bad your symptoms are, but I bet there are some things you could do. If you're interested, I'd go to your local rock gym, take a class, get yourself on a top rope where there is really no safety risk and see how you do!
