I just had the meeting with the "educator". Let's just say that it's a good thing I had a reason for having the meet.

Gee, you know, guys are such liars! This guy had listed down his height on eH as 5'7". Now, I'm 5'2" and the guy stood as tall as I am, maybe even an inch shorter than me!!!

I'm not totally bummed about that. It just made my nerves a little more less. I bet he's saying to himself that I don't look like my photos or whatever, so I shouldn't be so quick to judge him like that.

So, we just spoke about writing the statement, why I wanted to return to school and why that particular program, etc. It lasted about an hour, then, he had to go. He said to email him my draft and he'll edit it.

And you know what? He had some words to tell me about returning to college that my brother and an ex tell me: make sure you are picking the right program and college because you will be accruing a very big expense. I agreed, but why is it that I'm not really worried about it when I should? Could it be that I want this degree so bad? I don't know, but now that he's like the third person telling me that, I feel like I'm back to square one again.

I would've liked to have had the meet turn into a date, but I'll still be happy if it just turns out to be just friends. He seems to be a nice guy...then again, aren't they always like that at first?

Well, I went there on a mission...and that mission was to get help on writing the statement.

Now, if only I can take what he's given me and form a page/page and a half of words!

Sorry if you were expecting juicier gossip! :)

Hey, Kristie and all!

If you think it was hilarious about him lying about his height, I forgot to mention this!

He also had a bandaid on his nose!!! I didn't notice it at first until I sat down across from him at the cafe! And I was a little taken back by it. But, I didn't bring it up -- I mean, what was I supposed to say? And if I did bring it up, would I embarrass him or something? So, I just ignored it and proceeded to discuss about what I needed to write.
