Hi Caroline,

Thanks for posting the article. This is the first Valentine's day that I will be spending as a single person in 7 years. At the beginning of the month I was dreading Valentine's Day and my feelings kept moving back and forth between sadness (for me) and anger (for Hallmark LOL); but then a week or so ago my mood changed. I started feeling content and realized that it's okay to be single; and it's ok to have high standards in what I'm looking for in a guy.

Now when I see all the Valentine's displays I think about how much I like the things associated with the holiday. Pink is my favorite color and red is right up there as a close second, I like hearts, and I love the idea of falling in love with the right guy, as well as having love for the people who mean the most to me (my Mom, Dad, brother, nephew, and best friend - who happens to be an ex-boyfriend).

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hi Caroline.

I hope your blind date went well. I have a date tomorrow with a guy I met through eHarmony. It will be interesting to see how that goes.

I treated my co-workers on Valentine's Day. I made Swiss Chocolate Almond coffee and brought in cupcakes. I just love to have fun on Valentines.
