Has anyone ever hosted a wine tasting party?

A friend of mine is considering hosting a wine tasting party, and it looks like a lot of fun.

That sounds like an amazing party! I really like the idea of doing small sample sizes of each variety. What kind of glasses did they use to serve the smaller samples?

I think I'm going to try to put one together between Christmas and the new year. Hmmmm...now I just have to plan it.
