I'm not sure why, but I'm one of those people that listens to the words in songs and at times, I can very much relate to a song or the meaning behind it.

I very much relate to music...but rarely to music with words.

Your songs sound perfect and no words in your songs are totally okay. I remember the song from Revelations too. But I can't tell you it's name either. :0)

I just thought of another one that I feel is DH and I! It's Rascal Flatts Bless the Broken Road. Second chances sure are wonderful!

For me, I tend to use music to remember things that have happened.

I love classical music too-DH plays piano, he plays with a communty chamber music program. So I've been exposed to all kinds of music with DH (he loves classic to real rock & roll to rap) I love rock & roll, classical & county. When I hear George Straigh, I always think of my late mom & grandmother. Big band music or Tenessee Ernie Ford my dad.

I relate to music, but a lot of the music I listen to isn't sung in English. As a belly dancer, a lot of the music I listen to and dance to is from the Middle East and North Africa, so it's sung in Arabic, Turkish, French, Lebanese, etc. As a Celtic Pagan I listen to a lot of Celtic music, most of which is either instrumental or sung in Irish or Welsh. The popular music I listen to the most is Goth and a lot of what I listen to there is sung in German,

This has been really interesting. I've enjoyed hearing about what type of music if any that you relate to. There was such a big rang.
