That is you are not happy, you can not make te people around you happy.
I thought even though I was miserable in my marriage, it was best for the kids. WRONG!!!! Now that I am happy and fulfilled, I see it reflected in my kids :)
That has to be one of the single most important lessons in life.
Be honest, to yourself and to those around you.

lol, I love the dumpster trips! I make my DS carry the trash out, down the stairs and out to the dumpster, back up to carry loaundry down every morning - the tricks we play on those kids :)
My son wouldn't see daylight if I didn't send him out to the dumpster.
LOL, mine would NEVER emerge from his room if he could pull that off.
Oh, a couple of years ago he want me to get him a fridge and a microwave for his room.
