What do you find different in your 40s then you did in years past?

More confidence in yourself and your abilities?

Have your interests and hobbies changed?

Do you still go out and have fun, or are you more of a home body?

For vacation do you camp or hotel it? Know where you are going and what you are doing or wing it?

What do you find different in your 40s then you did in years past?  My body is slowing down, and so is my metabolism! I'm happy to take a nap once in a while, LOL.

More confidence in yourself and your abilities?  Yes, I think so.

Have your interests and hobbies changed?  Not really a whole lot, aside from family activities changing as my kids get older and enter new stages of life.

Do you still go out and have fun, or are you more of a home body?  I never really was a "go out and have fun" kind of person.  I definitely like my time at home.

For vacation do you camp or hotel it? Know where you are going and what you are doing or wing it?  We camp, and our trips are a mixture of "planning ahead" and "spontaneity".  I'd say we know the area we're going to  and what we'd like to see/do while we're there, but we don't plan the trip down to the last second.

What do you find different in your 40s then you did in years past? I'm still pretty new to my 40s, but I find that I don't care as much about others impressions, maybe a tad more selfish with my time and happiness.   I love that I have more freedom when it comes to my kids, I'm not as tied down.

More confidence in yourself and your abilities? I don't think I have any more confidence in my 40s versus my 30s.

Have your interests and hobbies changed?  Not much, still like to curl up and read.

Do you still go out and have fun, or are you more of a home body? I've always been somewhat of a homebody, although it's fun to go out occasionally and have fun. I don't have a lot of tolerance for really drunk people anymore!

For vacation do you camp or hotel it? Know where you are going and what you are doing or wing it?  We do a bit of both, it's been hard to find the time for a lot of vacations but  hopefully things will improve in that area the next year or two.

What do you find different in your 40s then you did in years past?   I don't care what other's think of me, it doesn't even enter my mind anymore because  don't care if anyone likes me or not.  I'm still he same person I have always been but I've let go of so much of the psychological baggage. I have found a way to be happy with who I am, just a I am.

More confidence in yourself and your abilities?  Oh yes!

Have your interests and hobbies changed?  Not really.  I still like being in the mountains, my old bones won't let me climb or hang glide anymore but I still get out there and walk paths and explore the wilderness.  I also have the money to explore my hobbies better now.

Do you still go out and have fun, or are you more of a home body?  I've never been a home body.  I like to be out and about, even if all I am doing is walking around a mall.

For vacation do you camp or hotel it? Know where you are going and what you are doing or wing it?  I don't care to camp out in a tent.  I'm a cabin person or hotel person.  I usually plan where we are going but once we get there it is whatever we feel like doing that day.  I'm a very spontanious person, always have been.
