I thought it would be fun to post some of our favorite music here. It doesn't necessarily to be Pagan-oriented or conencted to your spirituality. Fee; free to post as many songs as you'd like.
One of my favorite bands is Kamelot and this is my favorite song by them:

There are a lot more songs that I want to post, but I don't want to overwhelm y'all!
Well, this sucks big time! When I was younger I used to keep track of all the latest music news, but I stopped that a long time ago. I need to start doing that again, because I just now found out that Roy Khan, the lead singer of Kamelot (I posted their video above), has left the band! He was their main songwriter and has one of the most incredible singing voices in music today. Apparently he found religion (maybe became a born again Christian, I'm not sure). I've heard also that he suffers from depression and anxiety, so maybe he just needs a break from recording and touring. I hope that he decides to come back to the music world. I'd even be willing to listen to Christian music if Roy was singing it.
Hello Sisterhoney, what a great topic you started!
I like a lot of different genres of music, I guess. Celtic. Native American (Carlos Nakai). Pagan. Rock and roll. Rock. Classical. Folk. New Age. Too many songs to list, though. :P

While I love certain songs or certain albums (such as " Deep within a Faerie Forest"), I am not really "into" music like some people are. I often prefer listening to the sounds of nature, or just enjoying silence, since I seem to be surrounded by people and musak all day.
One singer that I love unequivocally though, is John Denver. Everything he ever wrote or sang speaks to me.
Othewise I listen mostly to New Age instrumental music or Chinese and Taoist music.
I do really like some songs by the Indigo Girls and Enya. My absolute favorite music video is this one

I often like just silence, too. :) No music, no background tv, etc. I even at times take out my hearing aids because I want a more meditative silence, and helps to deaden sounds of cars driving by, and so forth, from outside the house. Other times I like to have some music going, whatever I may be in the mood for.
Blessings,
Gypsy
