May I join you?

Hi everyone! My name is Amelia and I have been lurking here for awhile - finally got "brave" enough to post something, lol! I consider myself an eclectic solitary pagan/ethical vegan. Solitary, because I have yet to meet a person with pagan beliefs who is also vegan. But it seems I am a minority in so many areas of my life - guess I wasn't meant to be a follower, but instead I have been listening to my own voice for quite some time now. :smileywink:

So glad you have joined us. Lurkdom can be a deary dusty place hehhe.

I am Caly and the titled CL here, though I endevor to follow as much as lead, so please post as much as you want and as often. We encourage questions, comments and insights on both your Path and your Life in general.

I myself am a pretty solitary practitioner, as I deem myself a Taoist and a Lesbian, though I also enjoy conversing with all Pagans, and Im drawn to the ways of the Native American beliefs as well.

Welcome, Amelia. I hope you will continue to join us and post. :) I am Gypsy. I came to the Goddess in my 40s, and She has walked with me since then. I am now 64. I am married, and we have one grown daughter, 30. And one dog. :P I am mostly solitary, but a few years ago connected with a few other Pagans at a UU church. We weren't happy at the UU church, and formed our own little Circle. We alternate hosting and planning ritual. Tonight we will be having our Samhain ritual, as it's the best time for us all to get together. I am so looking forward to raising the power and the energy, to feeling the tangible presence of the Lady and Lord in our midst! While I feel Their presence when alone, there is also something special in being with others. It took many years before I found others to worship and be with, but I have learned to trust the Lady's timing in my life... ;) So, again, welcome!

Thank you for the welcome, Gypsy! I have seen your posts on other boards, as well as this one, but it is good to finally be able to "talk" to you, lol! I, too, attended some CUUPS gatherings, but what turned me off of those was the fact that everyone (other than me) ate meat! And that is a smell I cannot stand to be around.

It really would be nice to meet someone who somewhat shared both of my belief systems (pagan and ethical vegan - although for me, they go hand in hand), but I
