What traditions do you carry on?

Pagan Traditions

Not all Pagans are Wiccans, and not all Pagan paths are the same. From Asatru to Druidry to Celtic Reconstructionism, there are plenty of Pagan groups out there to choose from. Read on and learn about the differences and the similarities....

I am Wiccan, mostly Solitary, but also belong to a small Circle, and we get together at each other's homes for the Sabbats as much as we can. Otherwise we all practice as Solitaries in between. :) I also practice my Zen Buddhist Zazen sitting meditation and T'ai Chi Chih. I combine the paths, or some of the basics from each, in a blended way that enriches me and keeps me feeling centered and balanced. There are so many wonderful spiritual wisdoms out there, from many different traditions, and I believe we can pick & choose what nurtures us, leaving the rest behind. I don't believe in a "straight-jacket" belief system where I think everyone should follow only one way. We humans invented all our religions or traditions, inspired by our insight and intuition, as we observe Nature and the Universe. Whatever tools from those who left us their wisdom that help us, we can choose to use. But nothing is written in stone. I don't believe any path or tradition has "all the answers." Not by a long shot! The answers are within each of us, and they don't have to be the *same* answers, either. ;)
