QOTW: Others Understanding Your Path

Most of us would probably agree that there needs to be more understanding, more acceptance and more tolerance of other religious paths in this world. We Pagans are all too familiar with intolerance about our spiritual path, though other people of other faiths have dealt with intolerance on the parts of others as well. What do you wish that others understood about your path? What are some of the stereotypes about your path that you wish could be laid to rest? When someone expresses intolerance against your path, what do you do: debate/argue about it, refuse to discuss it, walk away, shrug or something else?

What do you wish that others understood about your path? I would like those who don't share my beliefs to understand that my being a Pagan Witch has nothing to do with devil worship, evil, or Hollywood hocus-pocus. I'd like them to also understand that just because I do not share their beliefs, doesn't mean I'm their enemy.
What are some of the stereotypes about your path that you wish could be laid to rest? I wish more people understood the science behind Witchcraft. Instead, most think of shows like "Charmed" and movies like "The Craft", when they hear the word Witch. Most of my witchcraft centers around healing and helping. I
