QOTW: Winning the Lottery

Last week our Powerball Lottery was $222 million. If you won that much in a lottery how would you use/spend the money? Would your life change drastically? Would winning the lottery change you as a person?

I'd pay off two mortgages and a car and then invest the rest in a safe way so I'd never have to worry about bills, EVER again!

I don't THINK it would change me but then, given my nature, I'd never buy a lottery ticket anyway, let alone win!

I would probably renovate my house, sell it, move closer to my brother's but get a place with a lot of garden space. I'd also renovate my parents' house.

I'd give money to charity and also to a few people I know who could use a helping hand. I'd go and live in South America for a year or two.

I'd set up a college fund for my nephew, set aside funds for a few kids in my life for when they finish college. The rest I'd invest.

Would it change me as a person? It would certainly take a whole financial load of worries off my shoulders, though I am also certain a new financial load of worries will replace those LOL. It wouldn't change me. I'll just be more relaxed.

I would buy a house on a lot of land so that I could open up an animal rescue center/sanctuary. I'd pay off my outstanding debt. I'd give a lot to animal and environmental causes. And I'd travel to Ireland.

I don't think that I would change as a person if I won the lottery. I think that a lot of my worries would be over and I could concentrate on what is important to me, rather than simply getting through each day.
