What are your favorites when it comes to:

1. Movie? August Rush. The X-men Trilogy. Coyote Ugly.

2. Book? The Time Traveler's Wife. The Harry potter series. The Twilight series. The Dark jewels Trilogy by Anne Bishop. And a few dozen others, pretty much anything by Mercedes lackey, the Pern series. I'm a bookworm.

3. Holiday? I'm really looking forward to Yule.

4. Vacation spot? I want to go to Italy some day, never been, yet. Does that still count?

5. Vegetable? Eggplant.

6. Season? Spring

7. Song? Too many to list, and about half of them aren't in English, anyway. (I've got a thing for Italian pop.)

ETA Okay I'm gong to 'fess up. The two songs I most cannot NOT sing along to, right now are "I won't apologize" and "I promise you" both by Selena Gomez.

Movie ~ I don't have one.

Book ~ Ehm, er, there's a whole *list* of them. A Suitable Boy (Vikram Seth), The Handmaid's Tale (Margaret Atwood), The Master Butchers Singing Club (Louise Erdrich)...

Holiday ~I don't have one either.

Vacation spot ~Right now I would have to say Singapore. Why? Because it's so normal and organized there, because I can walk instead of having to take a car everywhere, because the air is more breathable than Jakarta, because I have dear friends there, and the bookshops are bigger and the record store more complete, and food's good, too.

Vegetable ~Spinach, zucchini and eggplant.

Season ~Late autumn/early winter.

Song ~It's an album, The Juliet Letters, by Elvis Costello and the Brodsky Quartet.

1. Movie? Don't have just one! :P

2. Book? Don't have just one! :P Spiritual: Starhawk's Spiral Dance or Scott Cunningham's two books for Wiccan Solitaries; fiction: too many to list, and a new discovery & favorite periodically. Currently: Kathy Reichs series of books on which the TV series, "Bones," is based. :D :)

3. Holiday? I guess Samhain and Yule because of family and friends making extra efforts to get together. :)

4. Vacation spot? If I could afford to go on vacation, it would be to the mountains, the Sierra Nevada. :)

5. Vegetable? I like a lot of veggies.

6. Season? Hard to choose, actually. Each has a spiritual connotation for me, and makes each special. :)

7. Song? Too many in too many genres.

Strong like a mountain,

Flowing like a river."
