I know that the people on this message board are working with Witchcraft and use spells and magic, but do

No, I don't work with ouija boards. While I don't believe in the Judeo-Christian being of Satan, I do believe that there are beings that do not wish us humans well. To open up a door of any kind would invite them through and just because they come through that door doesn't necessarily mean that they will leave. Maybe if you cast a protective circle around yourself before using an ouija board it might offer you more safety, but I myself would not want to risk it.

I had some time last night to cruise around the Internet to find out as much information as I could about Ouija boards and from what I've found I must say that I'm NOT going to mess with them in any way at any time!!

In all that I've read everything keeps saying that a person needs to know what they're doing before messing with a Ouija board, - - - but no one says where a person is to go to learn what they need to know.

Hi. :) I don't use a board, either. I prefer animal totems as guides, and I've read how carefully shielded one needs to be to protect oneself to use a ouija board, so I just chose to leave well enough alone. I prefer my stones and Tarot type decks for answering questions or seeing indications. I always shield by casting a Circle first. I am not 100% sure I want to invite deliberately, or channel, spirits, and using a ouija board seems to be doing that. I don't think it's evil; it's just not a magical tool I have wanted to use.

You're welcome. :) I pass, too. :P I much prefer my Medicine Cards or Wolf Cards or Crone Stones for divination, and always shielded by casting a Circle first. Also, just lighting a yellow candle for "guidance" and sitting in meditative focus works for me. I prefer to seek the guidance of specific Sources and call to Them, like the Lady & Lord, my Totems, etc. Rather than just "open it up" to whomever might decide to show up. ;)
