First date on Monday, need ideas!

After about 6 months of man-hating and focusing on nothing but school and work I went out with one of my best friends last week. I didn't have any expectations except to get drunk as a skunk since I wasn't driving. We ended up running into a bunch of my friends coworkers (they all work at a summer camp) and a lot of them are from Ireland, Scotland, Sweden, and the U.K.

For some reason I hit it off with a really nice English guy. We talked for most of the night, danced, and made out like middle-schoolers. He asked for my number and I gave it to him but certainly didn't expect him to get in touch but to my COMPLETE shock he's been checking in periodically for the past few days and asked if I was free on Monday for a date.

I'm nervous but also SUPER excited. I think it'll be fun to come up with something fun to do since he's the guest and I know the area better than he does. Obviously, when you go out on a date with a local boy they will more than likely do all the planning.

Now my problem is what we should do. I think dinner would be a no-brainer but I'd like to show him a good time and do something a little different. Any ideas?

Hmmmm...well you could take him to a local sporting event, or to some of your favorite places in the area you live. You could also take him to a local museum or something that is a tourist trap in the area :)

Do you have a nice riverwalk in your area (a place where you can dine, have a drink, and walk around the water)? Or do you have a lake or nice park around? When it warms up I always love going for a nice dinner than walk around the water; makes for some good talking. Pack a blanket in your car and you could lay out under the stars. Sounds corny; but those are some of the most memorable dates ive been on. If you really want to get to know him don't go to a bar and get drunk as a skunk.
