Hi. I just started SBD, and I am on day 2. So far so good. The food is good, I am satisfied, and only mildly craving doritos and oreos!! I read the book, and found alot of inconsistencies between the information in the book and the recipes. Is anyone else on day 2 that would like to go thru the ups and downs with me??

for breakfast---if you hate eggs, try cottage cheese. sometimes i'll have 1 or 2 pieces of sliced tomato too. if i hadnt found an egg substitute, i would have quit! also, a friend of mine had low fat mozzarella and tomato sandwiches instead of eggs, but that wasnt appealing to me at all. whatever works...

Congratulations Karen! 11 pounds! Who cares if it is water, it is still 11 pounds! I haven't lost any weight in two days! I know I shouldn't care, but I do. Of course, I'm blaming it on my almond snack attack last night. I don't know what to tell you about the eggs for breakfast, maybe just hang in there. You don't have much longer to go to phase two. I guess I'm lucky - I like eggs. I did have a yummy lunch yesterday. I mixed black beans with tomato juice (about 1/4 cup), some chopped red peppers, chopped onions, cumin, oregano, and hot sauce. I had that over lettuce with canned chicken. It was wonderful and filling. I didn't get hungry for a snack until about 3:30 (which, unfortunately, is late for me!).
