Bleeding?

Hi everyone!
I am on my 2nd week of Phase II. I've lost 11.5 pounds now...I think I finally broke through my plateau thanks to Alison and Maryann and others for their great advice.
Small problem and a personal one at that...I'm on the Birth Control Pill...been on it for years...but this month, I'm in the second week of pills and I just started bleeding today. A little cramping and enough for a tampon...which is unusual since my periods are seriously light in the first place. has anyone had this side effect from changing their WOE? I'm worried because of the cramping in my back...and because I've never had spotting on the pill...I've been on time and taking my pill everyday. Any advice to put my worries at ease would be great!
A girl at work said she had the same problem...and hers was internal bleeding! :( Scary! But it went away in a couple of days. But still...that can't be good.
Thanks for listening to my worries!!

Thanks again,

Ok, I posted this a week ago...and I'm still bleeding. This is like a regular period...I haven't called my doctor, I know she is going to want me to come in, but I'm on temporary insurance since I just graduated from college and have only a part time job. I don't know if anyone else has had this for this long...I'm sure it is definitely partly due to this WOE, but it just feels like it's been so long! Any advice or reassurance from anyone in the same boat would be great. Thanks in advance.

I had my "extra" period for 7 days! And my 'regular' period usually lasts only 2-3 at most. I didn't bother calling my doctor either, and it did go away but as I said, 7 days later. This has been one crazy experience and I'm hoping it won't happen again. The last day I had it was this Saturday past and now I am due for my regular period this Saturday coming. I'm not sure if I'll actually get my 'regular' period because I lost so much already this month. I guess I'll just have to wait and see...
Take care,
Jenn
If you are in a no or low insurance time and you have some GYN needs, go to Planned Parenthood! They operate on a sliding scale, depending on how much you can pay, and are really wonderful with any sort of irregularities. I used to go to them for my regular GYN check-ups when I was doing freelance work (no insurance!) Don't neglect your bod, especially when you are trying to get healthy!

Tracy, if it happens again next month call your gynecologist to at least let him/her know.
