Ugh, I'm am doing so poorly. The other day, everybody ordered from an Italian place, and I got a crabcake, while the others had pizza, mozzerella sticks, and wings. I walked away before they could see that I was crying. I another Kudos bar today. And some of the bread from my Subway roll. I originally just ate the tomato sauce and chicken out of it, but next thing I new I was eating the bread. This is NOT working out.

Oh, Tulippy, don't feel so bad; that'll only make you MORE discouraged. If you fall down, then get up and go again. That is all you can do, and it is a good thing TO do!

My suggestion: Don't try to go to Subway. I went to a conference durign phase 1, where lunch was provided. I threw away the bread from the sandwich immediately, so it wouldn't be a temptation. But the potato chips and cookies were included in the packaged bag, and I took them with me to my seat...AND ATE THEM!!!! I couldn't resist once they were on my plate!!! I don't think I would have had self control when paying for that great tasting, fresh baked bread!

I wonder if Subway would let you order the meat and cheese only? Or are the salads OK (I just stayed away, even though there is one around the corner from work and one across the street at home).

I wouldn't have eaten it if my roomate wouldn't have brought it home. She is killing me. We're having a cookout Saturday, so that should be difficult. But I figure, if I eat anything I'm not supposed the eat, I'll take a very small portion.

I just got on the scale, and surprisingly, I've lost 5 lbs.

Thanks for the support,

Ro

See there? Don't be so hard on yourself...you lost five pounds. Just do the best you can to stick to this way of eating, but don't worry excessively when you slip up. Remember: The goal is a healthy self, and that's it!

See -- it wasn't so bad. You aren't failing miserably. Sometimes things just happen.

I know I've had a bite of things here and there and I did not get struck down by lightening :)!!!

This has to be a WOE for life, not something that you have to stick to. So do your best and it will all work out.
