Question about Yogurt

Is any kind of yogurt allowed in Phase I? I can buy Fat Free, no sugar added, with 85 calories, sweetened with Splenda. However, it still has 8 grams of sugar. Will this be ok, or will it set off a craving?

Am also confused about carrots...are they allowed in phase I? Thought I read they were.

I am on Day 2 of Phase I, been "lurking" around for about a week. Surprisingly, I feel pretty good.

Hi there ----

Carrots are a food to be avoided and yogurt is allowed on Phase 2.

Hope this helps.

Yogurt--phase 2--yogurt has natural sugars and the type of carbs that are to be avoided in P1. But what brand of yogurt has Splenda, just the same?

Carrots--avoided durign P1; eaten sparingly during P2 and 3, due to high natural sugar content.

The brand of yogurt is "lite 85" made by Wells Blue Bunny dairy. It is an upper Mid-west regional dairy, (located in LeMars Iowa)so possibly not available nationwide.

Thanks for the responses, this board has been very helpful.

Lite 85 by Blue Bunny, it's the kind Dr. A recommends. It's available in Texas, and it must be available in Florida since thats what he recommends.

Ah, yes...the Blue Bunny again. I remember seeing it in Texas but I have never seen it out here in California. I'll stick to my Continental...probably more friut than he recommends, but ti is very good and all natural.

Happy eating!
