Everyone, grab a motz stick and dance!!!!!

Today was a great weigh in day!!!! After running for 45 minutes and walking for 10 minutes, I weighed myself. I am down 2 more pounds for a grand total 14.5 pounds! I have 4.5 until I reach my goal and set a new goal. This was also after having a small piece of the BEST apple with carb smart ice cream! How funny is that! Now, I will measure and edit this post later. I am about 5 pills from TOM, so I will expect the worst and hope for the best, but it won't discourage me at all. My only problem will be next week. I am going to a Department of Juvenile Justice Prevention training at the Coronado Spring Resort at Disney. I won't have a way to prepare my own food, so I will be doing a lot of searching for the right foods! It will be an adventure. take care, and Happy eating!

I'm dancing and singing (((((Big Congrats on your 2 lb weight loss)))))).Exercise plays a good part of lossing weight.I wish I could run,or exercise like I use too,but having a bone spur on my left heel makes it impossible.I'm sure you'll do fine next week.Just follow the food plan as best you can,and when you get back you can resume the right eatting pattern. Congratulations, Ria!!

I'd rather grab Ben & Jerry and have a go on the dance floor, but I'll wait a long while more before I do that....

I bet the Disney resort you're going to has a "health" menu that will give you peace of mind for a few days. Maybe a buffet will actually be a good thing, too, so you can pick and choose what you want. Did the conference planners do pre-set menus for your meals?

Good luck, and keep up the good work!

Yea Ria --- you are doing awesome. I guess you'll just have to do the best you can next week --- there will probably be stuff you can pick from. Most business lunches/dinners have salad and some type of meat or tuna/turkey sandwiches which you can just dump the bread.

Good luck

Salads or bunless burgers with slice tomato instead of fries always works when in public. I also grab a sandwich and toss the bread.
