Lets get some info out there for the new comers about success. I've posted on here quite a bit in the past so I'm back.

I completed 2 weeks of Phase I but have decided to do one more week of PI.
How long have you been on South Beach?
2 weeks.
How long did you spend in each phase?
2 weeks in PI, going for a 3rd week this week...
How much weight have you lost?
4.5 lbs. Okay, that doesn't sound like much but it's half of what I wanted to lose!
Did you lose inches first?
Lost inches at the same time.
Did you exercise?
A little. Honestly the first week I was too tired to exercise. The second week I felt great and got back into my power-walking program. And I do about 10 min of free-weights every day.
If so, what did you do?
See above.
A food you couldn't have been successful without?
Celery!! With a little of that Laughing Cow cheese or some natural PB it really filled me up. And is sooo yummy!

How long did you spend in each phase? 2 weeks phase 1, 3 weeks phase 2
How much weight have you lost? 11 lbs. phase 1 and 4 lbs. phase 2
Did you lose inches first? I don't know but I did measure myself last week and lost 6 "
funny but none from my stomach :)
Did you exercise? after phase 1 yes -- (too tired during phase 1, just did a little)
If so, what did you do? the Firm
A food you couldn't have been successful without? cauliflower mashed potatoes and I'll admit it --- sugar free chocolate

How long have you been on South Beach? today is my 6th day
How long did you spend in each phase? I plan to spend the full 2 weeks in phase I, but may add more time in this phase, depending on loss.
How much weight have you lost? 4lbs so far
Did you lose inches first? I don't know exactly-I didn't take measurements before starting-however, I definitely notice a difference in the fit of my jeans :)
Did you exercise? I have tried, but find it really difficult on phase I...I get really tired easily, and even dizzy sometimes so I have to stop
If so, what did you do? I've been able to walk about 3 miles, and play tennis for about an hour w/my bf
A food you couldn't have been successful without? cucumbers!!! These are my lifesavers! I love to cut them into quarters (kinda like pickle spears) then squeeze some fresh lemon over them and sprinkle with a little salt...yummy!!! and quite filling.

Phase 1 about 8 days.
Current Phase? Phase 2-3; I basically eat whatever I want within reason of this Way Of Eating
How long have you been on South Beach? Since mid-August
How long did you spend in each phase? Phase 1--two weeks: I thought about staying longer, but was craving a lot of P2 foods after 2 weeks. Phase 2--I was strict for the first few weeks, but then I noticed all my clothes were fitting and started to "cheat" a little. My weight didn't go up (in fact, I've lost a little more since), so I am where I am right now.
How much weight have you lost? 20 pounds at last weigh in (this morning). It fluctuates between 17-20 pounds
Did you lose inches first? I lost
Aren't those inches lost even more rewarding than the pounds?
