HI I am just starting Day 1

I am just starting south beach, first day. Had my breakfast...snack..and I am preparing lunch now. So far I feel pretty good, haven't been hungry...yet. Cant wait to start seeing results. Any advice???

I began the South Beach Diet last week and am on day 6. Around the third day I got really weak because I was so busy that I skipped the snacks. Thinking that that would be even better because of the reduced calories, I just left the snacks out for two days. Mistake! I got very lightheaded and almost sick to my stomach. It didn't take me long to realize that I was not getting enough food. The diet is great, but you really need to follow it the best that you can. I have lost 5 pounds so far! Good Luck!

Hello and welcome.

The biggest advice that I can give you is to plan -- don't leave things up to chance and find out you are hungry or are at somewhere with no allowable foods.

Alleycat gave good advice too --- less is not more with this way of eating. Always eat all your meals and snacks so you don't end up finding yourself way too hungry and giving into temptation.
