Hi Everyone,
I just started SBD on Oct 6th and was looking for support. I am half way through phase 1.
Any tips, help etc would greatly be appreicated. I am 42 yrs young and from Michigan.

It's great to have you here. How did you do in your first week? I am starting Phase 2 tomorrow morning. I can't wait for a bowl of oatmeal. Good Luck!
I too started on October 6. I have lost 3 pounds in week one, am feeling great and loving this board.
I am 43, and I live in Ohio.

I started today too..........so far it has been good. I have done the Atkins diet and had a success of 15 pounds in 2 weeks...........I just want to lose about 5-7 pounds but in my belly area....and this says it attacks it..........let's see..........let me know if I can help with anything...........GOOD LUCK. Let's be support buddies........I am in NYC!
Thank You for the welcome! I lost 6lbs the 1st week. I am felling a little better now.
In the beginning I had alot of headaches and nausea. I guess this is common for alot of people talk to you soon>

I lost 6lbs the 1st week. This board is great!! We are neighbors. I live in Michigan. I travel to Ohio sometimes for dog shows. Hope to talk to you soon!

I also was on the atkins. I just needed more varity. I do miss the convient prepackaged foods. I hate to cook!!!! I loved the advantage bars and the endulge chocolate miss them.
In the long run I think this is by far a healthier choice. Tell me a little more about yourself. Hope to hear from you soon.

I am on day 2 and I guess I'm doing OK. I was pretty hungry a couple of times yesterday, so I am trying to combat that by making my meals for fulfilling. I am always running late in the morning, so I usually just have a protein shake. Even with a small snack in the morning, I am still really hungry. I'm gonna try to get up earlier tomorrow and make eggs. I also made some yummy vegetable soup last night and I ate it before dinner and it really curbed my appetite. I brought some for lunch today to have before my salad. I hope I can be successful on this. The biggest problem is my enormous appetite. I feel really strongly the need to lose weight. My wedding rings are too tight and they hurt. Sometimes I can't even get them on and I have had to buy new clothes to fit because I put on so much weight. Let's try to keep motivating each other because this is really important. Talk to you soon!
